There is a wonderful flute magazine available to anyone interested. "Flute Talk" is a small publication dedicated to flute players and teachers. It's written for high school students through adults, but many of the articles are accessible to younger students, too. I've been collecting these for a while, they are very informative and interesting to flute fanatics. Anyone who'd like to borrow a few back issues, let me know.

If you Google "Flute Talk" it will take you to the website; it's a division of "The Instrumentalist" (a magazine about all band instruments, for band directors). Subscriptions are about $13 per year.

I also subscribe to "PAN", a British flute publication. Look for some of their flute cover art to show up in my new studio...I'll bring in a few issues of that, too, and the "Flutist Quarterly", which is the magazine of the National Flute Association. Kristy
